SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund retirees, along with many other beneficiaries, will undergo a new study on the bonuses, as announced by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan. A new development has occurred regarding retirement bonuses. The holiday bonuses will be discussed in parliament on Monday. The retirement bonuses were last increased by 50% to 3,000 lira. So, when will the 2025 retirement holiday bonus be paid, and how much will it be? Here are the latest developments on the bonuses… Ramadan Bayram will be celebrated on March 29th this year. Every year, holiday bonus payments for retirees are received by SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund retirees, as well as widows, orphan pension recipients, relatives of martyrs, veterans, and champion athletes, among other eligible beneficiaries. Discussions regarding retirement holiday bonuses will take place on Monday (March 10). An increase in the bonuses to around 4,000 lira is expected.
The amount of increase in holiday bonuses for this year, which were raised to 3,000 lira last year with a 50% increase, has not yet been announced. Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, had announced that studies were being conducted to increase the bonuses. Last year, retirement holiday bonus payments began to be deposited into retirees’ accounts a week before the holiday. It is expected that payments will be made between March 24th and 28th ahead of the 2025 Ramadan Bayram. Bonuses will be transferred to accounts through the banks from which retirees receive their salaries, based on their allocation number’s last digit.
