Property owners who earn over 33 thousand liras annually from residential rental, and over 230 thousand liras from commercial properties will pay income tax. Those earning rental income below the exemption amount will not need to submit a declaration. The declaration process started recently, and now the final deadline is on the agenda. So, when will the rental income declaration applications end? There is not much time left in the rental income declaration process, which concerns property owners earning income from real estate. Declarations, which must be submitted electronically, will incur special penalties if not submitted on time. Additionally, in case the tax is not accrued on time, a penalty equal to twice the tax deficiency will be applied.
