The applications for birth aid have begun for those who wish to receive it. Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, stated that there has been a high demand for applications and provided information about the payments.

Applications for birth aid are now being accepted through e-Government. The only requirement is that the child must have been born on or after January 1, 2025.

Göktaş, who stated that they are accepting birth aid applications through e-Government, said, “We are talking about a monthly or one-time support program for every child born as of January 1, 2025. If a family’s first child is born in 2025, they will receive a one-time support of 5,000 TL. If the second child is born this year, the mother will receive a monthly support of 1,500 TL. For the third child and onwards, we will provide support of 5,000 TL per child.” WHERE CAN BIRTH AID APPLICATIONS BE MADE? Göktaş mentioned that citizens experiencing difficulties with applications made through e-Government can contact the Alo 144 call centers and provincial directorates, saying, “There is a very high demand from families. We will continue to share our other good news within the scope of the ‘Family Year’ with the public in the upcoming period.” WHEN WILL BIRTH AID BE DEPOSITED? Göktaş stated that this support will continue until the child reaches the age of 5 and said, “We will start making payments for our support to mothers into their accounts immediately after the evaluation process.”
