Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, shared details about agricultural support payments. Minister Yumaklı made a post on his social media account regarding agricultural support payments. An exceeding support payment of more than 4.3 billion Turkish liras will be made today to farmers. Minister Yumaklı announced that more than 4 billion 364 million 755 thousand Turkish liras in support payments will be transferred to farmers’ accounts today. Mentioning their continuous support for the farmers’ hard work and production, Yumaklı stated, “Today, we are transferring more than 4 billion 364 million 755 thousand Turkish liras in support payments to our farmers’ accounts. May it be blessed and prosperous.” According to the information shared in Yumaklı’s post, the specific support amounts were set as follows: 3 billion 903 million 65 thousand 896 Turkish liras for cereals, 432 million 446 thousand 630 Turkish liras for animal diseases, 25 million 837 thousand 788 Turkish liras for rural development investments, and 3 million 405 thousand 344 Turkish liras for product storage rent, transportation, and analysis in licensed warehouses.
