Some immovable properties in various cities of Turkey will be urgently expropriated for energy and infrastructure projects. Presidential decisions regarding energy and infrastructure projects have been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, for the construction of the Censtorage-5 Cengiz GES electricity production plant in Ankara, the relevant immovable properties will be urgently expropriated by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority to be registered in the name of the Treasury. Within the scope of the “154 kV Hitit TM (Çorum-1) TM Connections Energy Transmission Line Project” belonging to the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ), property rights will be established for the pole locations in designated immovable properties in Çorum, and easement rights will be established urgently for the transmission line corridor. Under the “154 kV Nallıhan TM Connections Line Project” of TEİAŞ, some immovable properties on the routes will have their pole locations acquired in property form, and easement rights will be established urgently for the transmission line corridor by TEİAŞ. In Nevşehir, for the implementation of natural gas pipeline projects in Derinkuyu and Acıgöl districts, immovable properties that intersect with the project routes and are necessary for the construction of fixed facilities, access roads, energy transmission lines, cathodic protection lines, and anode beds will be urgently expropriated by the General Directorate of Pipeline Operations and Oil Transportation (BOTAŞ) either in property form or by establishing permanent/temporary easement rights. In Sivas, immovable properties needed to continue mining operations in the area with mining (iron) operation license IV group number S:209 will be urgently expropriated by the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG). In Kırklareli, immovable properties identified within the scope of the Vize District Natural Gas Pipeline Project and those necessary for the construction of fixed facilities, access roads, energy transmission lines, cathodic protection lines, and anode beds will be urgently expropriated by BOTAŞ.
