Some real estates will be urgently expropriated for energy projects in various cities in Turkey. Presidential decisions regarding urgent expropriation in the energy sector have been published in the Official Gazette. According to this, in accordance with the connection agreements, certain real estates in Eskişehir for the “154 kV Acıbadem Eskişehir GES TM-Eskişehir OSB TM Energy Transmission Line Project” and in Aydın for the “154 kV Dampınar RES TM-Nezihe Beren JES TM Energy Transmission Line Project” will be urgently expropriated by the Turkey Electricity Transmission Corporation General Directorate in the form of property rights for pole locations and by establishing easement rights for conductor swing barrier. On the other hand, it has been decided to urgently expropriate certain real estates in Konya and Niğde for the construction of energy transmission lines by the Turkey Electricity Distribution Corporation General Directorate in the form of property rights for electricity distribution facility locations and by establishing easement rights for line safety zones.
