The Turkish Statistical Institute announced the unemployment rate for January.

According to the Household Labor Force Survey results, the number of unemployed individuals aged 15 and over decreased by 25 thousand individuals in January compared to the previous month, totaling 3 million 2 thousand individuals.

The unemployment rate decreased by 0.1 points to 8.4 percent.

The unemployment rate was estimated at 6.5 percent for men and 12.1 percent for women.
