TUSAŞ and Brazilian Aviation Giant Partner Up for Joint Production Move

TUSAŞ has collaborated with the Brazilian aviation giant Embraer for joint production activities in civilian and military platforms. Turkey’s Aerospace and Space Industry (TUSAŞ) and the Brazil-based aerospace company Embraer have joined forces for collaborative R&D and production activities in civilian and military platforms. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır shared on his social media account that they have advanced the cooperation in the field of aviation with their visit to Brazil last September, now enhanced by the signed agreement. During the LAAD 2025 Defense Fair in the country, a memorandum of understanding was signed between TUSAŞ and Embraer, establishing grounds for joint R&D and production activities on civilian and military platforms. Kacır stated, “The memorandum will pave the way for collaborative R&D and production activities between TUSAŞ and Embraer, aiming to strengthen the global presence of the Turkish aviation industry through international partnerships.” TUSAŞ also remarked in their statement that “This agreement will bolster the collaboration between the two companies through joint production activities, exploring new opportunities in R&D and engineering to further enhance the global effectiveness of Turkish aviation.” Meanwhile, an announcement from Embraer indicated the company’s search for new suppliers due to increased demand for their products, noting TUSAŞ’s expertise in metal and composite aircraft body parts.
