Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that Turkish Airlines (THY) will provide families with a 15% discounted travel opportunity until the end of the year as part of the Family Year.

In a written statement, Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş mentioned the creation and implementation of the Vision Document and Action Plan for Strengthening Family Protection.

Emphasizing their ongoing efforts to “Increase Family Welfare” and “Enhance the Effectiveness of Family-Oriented Social Policies and Services,” Göktaş stated, “As part of our 2025 Family Year goals, we are implementing discount programs that will provide economic benefits to our families.” Göktaş, announcing the new initiative, said, “In this context, we have reached an agreement with Turkish Airlines to offer a 15% discount to families throughout the 2025 Family Year. The campaign, announced on the Turkish Airlines website as ‘Family Discount,’ will apply a 15% discount to a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 9 passengers sharing the same surname within the same reservation.”
