The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day flat at 9,764.55 points. At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose to 9,764.55 points with an increase of 0.88 points and 0.01% compared to the previous closing. The banking index and the holding index gained 0.36%. Among the sector indices, financial leasing factoring was the highest gainer with 0.57% while trade was the biggest loser with 1.52%. In the domestic market, the BIST 100 index, which followed a selling trend yesterday, ended the day at 9,763.67 points with a loss of 1.55%. In the global markets, mixed movements are expected due to US President Donald Trump’s tariff threats and uncertainties about the roadmap of the Federal Reserve. Analysts pointed out that today, international investment position and weekly money and banking statistics will be followed domestically, while in Germany, Producer Price Index (PPI), Philadelphia Fed manufacturing index, and leading indicators in the USA, among other data, will be closely monitored. From a technical perspective, it was noted that the BIST 100 index has resistance at 9,800 and 9,900 levels, and support at 9,700 and 9,600 points.
