The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.57% in the first half of the day, rising to 10,481.58 points.

Moving in an upward trend in the first half of the day, the BIST 100 index reached 10,481.58 points at 13:00, with an increase of 59.34 points and 0.57% compared to the previous closing. The total trading volume was 60.7 billion Turkish lira. While the banking index lost 0.86% in value, the holding index gained 0.4%. Among the sector indices, the most profitable was financial leasing factoring with 4.96%, while the most loss-making was textile leather with 0.85%. In global markets, a mixed course is observed due to increasing tension in trade with the tariffs of the U.S. and signals from economic data strengthening recession concerns. Analysts noted that the data agenda is calm domestically in the afternoon, while the JOLTS job openings in the U.S. will be monitored internationally, and technically, the BIST 100 index has resistance at 10,500 and 10,600 points, with support levels at 10,400 and 10,300.
