Last year, with a 50 percent increase, it rose to 3,000 Turkish liras, but the increase for this year has not yet been determined. The new regulation for holiday bonuses will be discussed at the Economic Coordination Council Meeting held in Giresun on February 21. If there is a 50 percent increase in holiday bonuses as done last year, it would rise to 4,500 Turkish liras. With a 40 percent increase, it would be 4,200 liras, and with a 30 percent increase, it would be 3,900 liras. In 2025, Ramadan Bayram falls on March 30, while Eid al-Adha will begin on June 6. Since 2018, retiree holiday bonuses have been regularly deposited. The bonus payments are transferred to accounts approximately a week before the holidays.
