Solution with 10 bridge crossings for Antalya traffic

The Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Uraloğlu, stated, “We will improve Antalya’s transportation infrastructure with 10 bridges totaling a length of 2,617 meters.” Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, announced the commencement of construction activities for intersection projects to ease Antalya’s traffic. He reminded that the construction tender for the Sanayi, Uncalı, Duraliler, and Kepezüstü intersections, which connect Antalya Airport with the west of Antalya, took place on November 19, 2024. Providing information on ongoing works, Minister Uraloğlu expressed their plan to construct 3 bridges totaling 332 meters in the context of the Kepezüstü Interchange. Uraloğlu said, “We continue with the displacement operations at the Kepezüstü Bridge Interchange, where we have also started the construction of service roads.” TWO BRIDGES COMPLETED Within the scope of the Uncalı Bridge Interchange, Uraloğlu stated that they will build 2 bridges totaling 660 meters, mentioning: “For the Sanayi Bridge Interchange, we have planned the construction of 2 bridges totaling 720 meters. We have also started the construction of the service road here. In the Duraliler Bridge Interchange, we continue with the pile production for 3 bridges totaling 905 meters. Of the total 172 piles, 146 have been completed. We continue with bridge foundation and elevation construction works.” REDUCTION IN TRAFFIC CONGESTION Uraloğlu emphasized that when the works in these intersections are completed, they will significantly alleviate the increased traffic congestion during the summer months. He said, “With 10 bridges totaling 2,617 meters in length that we will build in 4 intersections, we will achieve a significant improvement in Antalya’s transportation infrastructure. This will provide a more comfortable and safe transportation experience for both our people and tourists visiting our country.”
