Construction costs have continued to stay below the inflation rate. Costs increased by 34.27% in December. The index recorded the lowest increase in 45 months. The momentum of decrease in construction costs is ongoing. According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), construction costs in December 2024 increased by 0.70 monthly and 34.27 annually. This data marks the lowest increase since March 2021. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index rose by 26.18%, while the labor index increased by 54.35%.
