The second highest daily export figure in the history of the Republic was reached yesterday in terms of goods. A total of 2 billion 65 million dollars worth of merchandise exports were conducted on Friday.

Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat announced that the second highest daily export figure in the history of the Republic had been achieved in terms of goods. Minister Bolat shared the record-breaking daily export on social media. Bolat stated that the entry into the Ramadan Feast with great success in exports would be a great news, saying, “A holiday gift in daily exports. The second highest daily export figure in the history of the Republic in merchandise exports was achieved. The daily merchandise export figure of 2 billion 65 million dollars realized on Friday has gone down in history as the second highest daily export figure in our 101-year Republic history.”

“EXPORT CONTINUES TO BE THE LOCOMOTIVE OF GROWTH” Bolat drew attention to the ongoing momentum of the increase in exports and recorded the following: “In an environment where international protectionism is on the rise, our merchandise and services exports continue to be the locomotive of our country’s economy and economic growth. Our merchandise and services exports, which our governments have managed to increase by 7.5 times to 377 billion dollars in the last 22 years in line with the goal set by our esteemed President as the future horizon of our country, ‘Turkey Century will be the Century of Trade,’ continue to make positive contributions to production and employment growth, decreasing unemployment, and our country’s foreign trade and current account balances with the revenues it brings in.
