Adjusted for seasonal effects, the capacity utilization rate rose by 0.3 percentage points to 75.2% in March. The capacity utilization rate (CUR) in the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 74.4% in March compared to the previous month. According to the statement from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), responses to the Economic Trends Survey for March from 1738 establishments operating in the manufacturing industry were collected and evaluated. The survey results showed that the capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 74.4% in March compared to the previous month. The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate (CUR-SA), considered as a leading indicator of growth, increased by 0.3 percentage points to 75.2% compared to the previous month.
