The final figure for the increase in millions of retirees’ holiday bonuses has been confirmed today. The current holiday bonus, which is 3,000 lira, has been raised to 4,000 lira with a 33% increase. A bill including raising the retirement holiday bonus to 4,000 lira and other regulations related to birth aid has been submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Retirees receive bonuses for Ramadan and Eid al-Adha every year. This year, holiday bonuses will also be paid in March and June.

Approximately 16 million retirees will benefit from this adjustment. Those who become eligible for retirement as of March 1st will also be able to receive the holiday bonus.
