In addition to SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund retirees, widows, orphans receiving pensions, champion athletes, relatives of martyrs, veterans, and many other beneficiaries benefit from these bonuses. It was learned that on the instructions of President Erdoğan, AK Party officials had conducted a new study on increasing bonuses. The Ministry of Treasury and Finance presented a report on the amount the bonus should be at the meeting. Retirement bonuses will reach approximately 16 million retirees through the accounts where pensions are received. So, how much will the retirement holiday bonus be? Before Eid al-Fitr starting on March 29, AK Party officials worked on the instructions of President Erdoğan. If the payment is 4,000 lira for 16 million 618 retirees, 34.5 billion TL will be paid to retirees. Together with the previous payment of 99 billion TL, 133.5 billion TL will be paid to the beneficiaries. The increase of 4,000 lira has not been finalized yet. Those who retired before February will be able to benefit from the bonus.SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund retirees as well as new retirees who are eligible for retirement before the holiday will be able to receive the bonus. Elderly pension recipients can receive the bonus, while widows and orphans receiving pensions will benefit from the payments based on the share ratio. For example, those who receive 70% of the retirement bonus from the widow’s pension will receive the bonus at this rate, while those receiving 30% as a death benefit will benefit from the bonus accordingly. Retirement bonuses will be paid to those receiving duty disability pensions, disability pensions, death pensions, continuous incapacity income, relatives of martyrs, veterans, combat veterans, security guards, champion athletes, and civilians affected by terrorism.
