The Social Security Institution (SGK) has made changes in the healthcare implementation communiqué. The amount of co-payment to be applied in physician and dentist examinations has been determined.

The co-payment in education and research hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health and district polyclinics affiliated with these hospitals was reduced from 45 lira to 20 lira.

No co-payment will be collected for physician and dentist examinations conducted in primary healthcare service providers.

The co-payment in private healthcare service providers in the second and third levels remains at 50 lira. The communiqué will be effective as of January 15, 2025.
