HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED? When calculating gasoline and diesel prices in Turkey, the Refinery Sales Price excluding VAT is determined by adding the Special Consumption Tax and EMRA contribution to the Duty-Free Refinery Price. When calculating the Duty-Free Refinery Price, daily CIF Mediterranean product prices published in the Mediterranean-Italian market and daily Dollar exchange rates are followed to obtain a certain price difference in the duty-free refinery ceiling sales price.
