Tech giant Apple introduced the 11th generation iPad model. The most significant update made was the device now using Apple’s A16 Bionic chip instead of the A14 chip. The A16 chip, with its higher performance, will enable the iPad to switch quickly between applications and easily handle multiple tasks simultaneously. DISPLAY AND DESIGN The screen size, previously 10.9 inches, has been slightly increased to 11 inches. The new iPad will come with an 11-inch Liquid Retina display. Equipped with a wide color range and True Tone technology, the screen offers vivid and clear images. The slim and light frame that facilitates the portability of the device has also been preserved in the new generation. CAMERA AND MULTIMEDIA There was no update made to the camera in the 11-inch iPad. The 12 MP wide-angle rear camera and the 12 MP selfie camera on the front, known from the previous generation, will continue to be used in the 11th generation. STORAGE AND CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS The new iPad 11-inch (A16) offers three different options with 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB of storage space. The memory, which was 64 GB in the previous generation, has at least doubled. The device, upgraded from Bluetooth version 5.2 to 5.3, will start using Smart HDR 4 instead of HDR 3 on both the front and rear cameras. The 11-inch iPad features a USB-C port and Wi-Fi 6 technology. ECOSYSTEM SUPPORT Accessories like Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard will work seamlessly with the iPad. This way, users can write, draw using a digital pencil, or use a keyboard to use it like a mini computer. How much will the Apple iPad 11-inch (A16) cost in Turkey in 2025? The starting price of the renewed 11th generation iPad has been set at 16,999 TL. The device, currently available for pre-order, will be released for general sale on March 12th.
