During inspections at “Muhtar Hanımın Yeri” in the Emirgazi district of Konya, pork meat was found in Adana kebab and meatballs. In other inspections, pharmaceutical ingredients were also found in herbal paste and energy drinks. The list of products confirmed to be counterfeit or adulterated has been updated as well. The number of products where another substance with a different value was added in place of the original substance increased by 21 to 977. Inspections revealed foreign substances in spices, food coloring in tea, poultry meat in sujuk, and offal in meatballs. The number of products where the elements that give them their fundamental characteristics and nutritional value have been removed in violation of regulations increased by 18 to 81.
