More than 20 thousand applications have been received for the 2,500 TL support payments provided to protect employment in businesses. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır reported that 20,354 SMEs applied to the KOSGEB Employment Protection Support Program to protect 530 thousand jobs. Kacır shared information about the number of applications made to the KOSGEB Employment Protection Support Program on his social media account. Emphasizing their commitment to supporting SMEs, the driving force of the economy, and always standing by entrepreneurs, Kacır stated, “With the program we have implemented to protect the competitiveness of labor-intensive manufacturing industries, 20,354 businesses have applied for 2,500 TL per month per employee without repayment commitment to protect approximately 530 thousand jobs.”
