One of the Most Expensive Mansions in the Bosphorus: White Mansion Available for Sale at 950 Million Liras

The White Mansion, one of the most expensive structures in the Bosphorus, along with the Brown Mansion, has been put up for sale. Koza-Altın İşletmeleri announced that the starting price for the auction was set at 950 million liras. The two mansions, owned by the Koza-İpek Holding belonging to the fugitive FETÖ suspect Akın İpek, were put up for sale. Following the events of July 15, the mansions, along with all the companies, were taken over by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) last August. Koza-Altın İşletmeleri stated in its disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform that the mansions would be sold through an auction. The White Mansion and Brown Mansion located in Istanbul’s Bebek were offered for sale last year at a price of 750 million liras. This year, the starting price for the auction has been set at 950 million liras. The auction date is scheduled for May 6.
A statement from Koza-Altın İşletmeleri included the following remarks:
“For the purpose of selling the real estate located at Bebek Mahallesi, Istanbul Province Beşiktaş District, Parcel No. 1259 Island 132 -133, owned by our company; an auction commission has been established to organize an auction with a real estate sales specification at a starting price of 950 million liras + VAT or more, to manage the auction process, the auction will be held on 06.05.2025 at 14:00 at our company’s address: Uğur Mumcu neighborhood FSM Boulevard N310 Yenimahalle Ankara address, through an open bid-auction, a unanimous decision was made.”
FEATURES OF THE MANSIONS There are two structures on Parcel No. 1259 Island 132 being sold. The ‘White Mansion,’ a second-grade ancient artifact, has two basement floors, ground floor, one regular floor, attic, and terrace, with a total of 695 square meters of gross indoor use area and a 208-square meter terrace. The other structure called the Brown Mansion consists of the ground and regular floors, with a gross indoor use area of 230 square meters. Akın İpek, a fugitive linked to FETÖ living in the UK, lost two lawsuits he filed against Turkey in international arbitration courts.
