New support of 36 billion liras coming for exports

Minister of Trade Bolat announced that a new guarantee package of 36 billion liras for exporters will be completed very soon. Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, reported that a new guarantee support has been prepared for exporters to facilitate financing. Emphasizing that the Ministry is prepared to offer new guarantee support packages for exporters with the source from the Export Development Agency (IGE) and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, a crucial stakeholder of the export action plan, Bolat stated, “Our exporters will soon be able to benefit from new guarantee support for Turkish lira and foreign currency loans with the new support packages that will be completed very soon.” Bolat posted on his social media account the details of this support, giving the following information: “With a guarantee support corresponding to a total credit volume of 36 billion liras, not only will the operational capital needs of exporters be met, but also guarantee support will be provided for digital transformation projects in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB) under our Ministry of Industry and Technology. We thank all the relevant institutions, especially our Ministry of Treasury and Finance, for the coordination in which we work together towards our export goals along with IGE, which has provided over 100 billion liras in credit guarantees to our exporters since its establishment. We will continue our efforts at full speed to further increase our exports.”
