PTT is preparing to deliver cargos on the same day. The pilot application started in Bursa and will be activated in Ankara. With the on-site delivery application, cargo processes will be accelerated. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, made statements regarding PTT’s new projects. Minister Uraloğlu stated that within the scope of the Same-Day Delivery project, deliveries with the same city destination, where e-commerce shipments are intense, will be delivered on the same day in major cities. IT STARTED IN BURSA, NEXT IS ANKARA The said project was launched in Bursa on January 13, 2025. Uraloğlu said, “Within the Same-Day Delivery Project, which we started as a pilot in Bursa, we delivered approximately 4,000 shipments to their recipients on the same day they were accepted.” Uraloğlu stated that the application will be launched in Ankara in the second phase of the project, and after the pilot application, the service will be offered in major cities such as Istanbul and Izmir. ON-SITE DISTRIBUTION BEGINS Uraloğlu also provided information about the On-Site Distribution model, stating that the aim is to deliver shipments sent from one province to another province on the same day of arrival with this model. Uraloğlu noted that the application will first be activated in Şanlıurfa.
