New development in trade between Turkey and Syria

Turkey has reportedly lifted restrictions on products imported from Syria. A significant step has been taken in trade between Turkey and Syria. According to the Syrian Port Authority, Turkey has removed restrictions on products to be imported from Syria. Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat had announced at the end of January that Syria reduced customs duties on 269 products exported by Turkey. These products include food such as chicken eggs, flour, corn, milk, cream, as well as some iron and steel and hygiene products.
