Entrepreneurial women in the İpekyolu district of Van produce handmade natural chocolate, providing both financial support to their families and contributing to employment. In 2022, 8 entrepreneurial women in İpekyolu district came together and started producing additive-free and protective-free natural chocolate through the cooperative they established. Speaking on the subject, businesswoman Perihan Duman emphasized their focus on domestic production and their goal to further advance their activities in this field. Duman stated, “Embarking on this journey in 2021, we became more institutionalized by forming a cooperative in 2022. Thanks to sales points allocated by the governorship, we have the opportunity to reach wider audiences. We continue to grow by selling to institutions, retail customers, and offering box or bulk sales for special occasions.”
