Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, stated that they will reach their high, inclusive, and balanced growth target with the program they are implementing, focusing on price stability, fiscal discipline, sustainable current account deficit. In a social media post, Şimşek recalled President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s announcement of the structural reform roadmap for the transformation of the economy today, noting the following: “We will maintain discipline in public spending by strengthening fiscal rules. We will enhance justice and efficiency in taxation. We will achieve green and digital transformation in the economy, increase the welfare level and production power of every corner of our country with a local development movement and transformation in industry. With the strong support of our dear President, we will reach our goal of high, inclusive, and balanced growth with price stability, fiscal discipline, sustainable current account deficit through the program we are implementing.”
