Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek will meet with investors in Munich to evaluate the Turkish economy. According to information from the Ministry, Şimşek’s Munich meetings that started yesterday will be completed on February 15. In addition to attending the Munich Security Conference, Şimşek, who is in Germany for the conference, also participated in the “No Money for Terror” Conference hosted by the German Ministry of Finance yesterday. During his visit, Şimşek also met with his German counterpart, Jörg Kukies, to discuss bilateral relations, cooperation with the European Union, and joint investment opportunities in third countries. After his official meetings yesterday, Minister Şimşek will meet investors hosted by Deutsche Bank today to discuss evaluations on the Turkish economy. Furthermore, he will present a comprehensive overview of Turkey’s economic program to a large group of Turkish businessmen.
