Minister Şimşek to Meet Investors in Dubai

The Minister of Treasury and Finance, Şimşek, will meet with investors in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. According to information from the Ministry, Şimşek’s talks in Dubai, which started yesterday, will conclude tomorrow. On the first day of his meetings, Şimşek sat down with leading figures from the financial world for a roundtable discussion, addressing participants’ questions regarding the Turkish economy. The meetings were attended by a significant number of representatives from leading holding companies and banks in the United Arab Emirates. During his Dubai visit, Minister Şimşek will engage in both large-scale and one-on-one meetings with investors. At the investor meeting expected to be attended by high-level representatives from the financial and real sectors, Şimşek will deliver a comprehensive presentation on global economic developments, the progress made in Turkey’s economic program, and investment opportunities. Minister Şimşek will also hold official meetings with his counterparts. Additionally, Şimşek will participate as a panelist at the World Government Summit, one of the country’s most prestigious events, in a session titled “The Rise of Multiple Economic Blocs.” Minister Şimşek is expected to be accompanied by Saudi Arabian Minister of Economy and Planning Faysal el-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Tuk el-Mari, and Minister of Economic Affairs of Indonesia Airlangga Hartarto.
