The eyes of millions of retirees are now on their retirement bonuses. It is expected that the retirement bonuses will be updated before the Ramadan holiday.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that they will be working on the holiday bonus for retirees.

Expectations are high for the bonuses to be increased to a range of 4,500 to 5,000 lira.

Retirement bonuses had increased to 3,000 lira in 2024 with a 50% raise.

The bonuses are deposited into retirees’ accounts twice a year, during the Ramadan and Eid al-Adha holidays.
