Microsoft Announces $700 Million Investment in Poland

Microsoft has announced that it will make an additional investment of $700 million in Poland to enhance the country’s cybersecurity.
In collaboration with Poland’s armed forces, Microsoft will strengthen the country’s cybersecurity with the additional $700 million investment. Microsoft President Brad Smith and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk held a joint press conference regarding the matter.
Smith stated that the investment will be the second phase of the $1 billion data center project announced in 2020 and opened in 2023.
Further details about the investment were not disclosed. The data center in question was built to provide cloud services to businesses and public institutions in Poland.
