Meta is expected to launch its own application in the near future to compete with ChatGPT. The parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, Meta, is expected to release its independent artificial intelligence application, Meta AI, soon. The company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, had previously announced plans to make his company a leader in the field of artificial intelligence ahead of competitors like OpenAI and Alphabet by the end of the year. The Meta AI chatbot was launched in September 2023. The company introduced the artificial intelligence as a digital assistant that works integrated into existing applications like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. In April, the search feature within existing applications was replaced with a chatbot to highlight the capabilities of Meta AI, aiming for it to be embraced by billions of users. Currently, Meta AI can only be accessed through a website and the company’s existing applications.
