The Economic Coordination Board convened in Giresun to discuss global trade developments. Measures aimed at increasing production and exports are also being addressed. Chaired by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, the Economic Coordination Board meeting took place at the Cotanak Conference Hall of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change. Participants included Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, AK Party Parliamentary Group Leader Abdullah Güler, Presidential Strategy and Budget Director İbrahim Şenel, Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan, as well as deputy ministers and representatives from relevant institutions. Discussions at the meeting will cover the necessary measures to increase production, competition, and exports in the industry, the impact of changing global trade policies on foreign trade, as well as labor market developments and employment policies.
