March 2025 Payments for Diesel and Fertilizer Support: When Will the Diesel and Fertilizer Support Payments be Made?

The timing of the diesel and fertilizer support payments being deposited into accounts in March is a hot topic for thousands of people engaged in agriculture. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will be providing farmers with basic support, planned production support, and production improvement support each month. So, when will the diesel and fertilizer support payments for March 2025 be made? The countdown has begun for the diesel and fertilizer support payments in March 2025. Farmers who will receive their payments through the Farmer Registration System are eager to know when the March payments will be deposited into their accounts. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will cover 50% of the diesel cost and 25% of the fertilizer cost for all products through basic support. So, when will the diesel and fertilizer support payments for March be made? The diesel and fertilizer support payments were already transferred into producers’ accounts by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on February 21. Therefore, it is expected that the payments for diesel and fertilizer support in March will be deposited by March 21. Farmers can check the status of their diesel and fertilizer support payments through e-Government with their ID numbers and passwords. It will be sufficient for the producers to log into the “Farmer Registration System” screen. The support coefficient value for 2025 has been set at 244 lira per decare. Farmers producing barley, wheat in the second category will receive 317.2 lira per decare, while farmers producing products such as sunflower, hazelnut, soybean, dry beans, tea in the third category will receive 366 lira per decare, and farmers producing cotton and rice in the fourth category will receive 549 lira per decare as basic support. Barley, aspir, sunflower (oilseed), wheat, rapeseed (canola), dry beans, lentils, corn (grain), chickpeas, cotton (raw), potatoes, onions (dry), soybeans, and fodder plants have been included in the list of products covered by planned production. Extra support payments will be made to farmers producing these products in addition to basic support. The diesel cost will be fully covered and 50% of the fertilizer cost will be covered for these producers. In provinces designated as dairy basins (Amasya, Bingöl, Bitlis, Çorum, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Muş, Tokat, and Tunceli), farmers producing fodder will receive additional planned production support up to 50%. Farmers producing in areas with limited underground water suitable for planned production will have 100% of their diesel and fertilizer costs covered. Support will continue for certified seed use, certified/standard seedling use, organic farming, good agricultural practices, and solid organic-organomineral fertilizer. Under the scope of biological and biotechnical combat support, the 2025 year’s cover support amount for greenhouse cultivation is increased by 50% from 2,550 lira to 3,825 lira per decare, and the support amount for open cultivation is raised from 870 lira to 1,305 lira. Rent support for products stored in licensed warehouses will be paid as 75% of the rent fee tariff set by the Ministry of Trade. The participation premium support for the Farm Accounting Data Network (FADN) system has been increased by 50% to 1,500 lira for businesses included in this system. Agricultural outreach and consultancy support has been increased by 104% to 294,000 lira.
