The holiday bonus that 16 million retirees have been eagerly waiting for has been announced. AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler conveyed that retirees’ holiday bonus has increased from 3,000 liras to 4,000 liras. The retirement bonuses, as usual, will be deposited into accounts before the holiday this year.

The final decision has been made on the increase in the holiday bonus for millions of retirees. The amount has been finalized today. The current holiday bonus of 3,000 liras has been increased by 33% to 4,000 liras. The bill, which includes raising the retirement holiday bonus to 4,000 liras and arrangements related to birth aid, has been submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Retirees are given bonuses for both Ramadan and Eid al-Adha every year. This year, holiday bonuses will also be paid in March and June.

16 MILLION RETIREES WILL BENEFIT

Approximately 16 million retirees will benefit from the regulation. Those who become eligible for retirement as of March 1st will also be able to receive the holiday bonus.

AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler announced to the press that the amounts of the bonuses given to retirees for Ramadan and Eid al-Adha have been increased from 3,000 liras to 4,000 liras, taking into account budget balances.

In his statement, Güler said, “Under the instructions of our President, our Ministry of Treasury and Finance, our Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and our Vice President Cevdet Bey, the work was completed. This rate was determined and included in our bill. Good luck to our budget and retirees.”
