Following the reduction in healthcare consultation fees, JPMorgan updated its inflation forecast. The bank lowered its February inflation expectation from 3.5% to 2.7%. JPMorgan adjusted its February inflation projections downward after the reduction in healthcare consultation fees. In a statement from the bank, it was revealed that the total potential dosage effect of the adjustment in healthcare prices could reach 1%. JPMorgan reduced its monthly inflation expectation for February from 3.5% to 2.7%. It maintained its year-end inflation expectation at 27.2%. The bank predicted that the Central Bank of Turkey would continue with interest rate cuts of 250 basis points in March and April. It disclosed a 2025 interest rate expectation of 30%. The Social Security Institution had made changes in the healthcare implementation communiqué. The communiqué lowered the amount of consultation fees to be applied for physician and dentist consultations. The consultation fee amounts for patient consultations in education and research hospitals, neighborhood polyclinics, state, and foundation university hospitals had been reduced from 45 lira to 20 lira.
