Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) had announced that it would provide educational support in the amount of 15,000 TL to 100,000 students through the Young University Student scholarship. It was decided that the IBB scholarship would be paid in two installments. With the completion of the first installment payments, attention has turned to the 2nd installment payments. Under the “Young University Student Education Aid” scope, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) had announced that it would provide a total of 15,000 TL scholarship support to students for the 2024-2025 academic year. After the announcement of application results, the payment dates are eagerly awaited. The first installment payment by IBB was made on January 7, 2025. No official date has been announced for the second installment payment yet.

Last year, second installment payments were made in February. Therefore, it is expected that the second installment payments will be made in February or March this year as well. When the exact payment date is determined, it will be announced through official channels by IBB. Additionally, students who have the right to receive the scholarship are informed via SMS by the IBB Social Services Directorate.

IBB scholarship payments are deposited into the students’ bank accounts provided at the time of application.
