Monthly growth in industrial production rose by 5%, marking the fastest increase in industrial production since March 2023. Industrial production increased by 7% on an annual basis in December. During this period, the mining and quarrying sector index rose by 1.8%, the manufacturing sector index by 6.8%, and the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning production and distribution sector index by 11.4%.
