In December 2024, the trade sales volume increased by 8.2% annually, while retail sales volume showed a 13.5% growth. The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) released the trade sales volume index for December of last year. Accordingly, the trade sales volume in December 2024 increased by 4.7% compared to the previous month. During this period, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 0.9%, retail trade sales volume by 0.4%, and wholesale trade sales volume by 7.3%. The trade sales volume in December 2024 showed an increase of 8.2% compared to the same month of the previous year. During the same period, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 5.1%, wholesale trade sales volume by 6.7%, and retail trade sales volume by 13.5%.
