Egg prices have increased in key egg production centers like Kayseri and Afyon in Turkey. Prices in Kayseri and Afyon have risen between 6 to 10 kurus. According to a report on Ekonomim, last week, prices for double, old hen, and new hen eggs went up. Prices for pullet, chicken, and guide eggs remained stable. In Afyon’s Başmakçı district, the price of a double egg, which was 4 lira 60 kurus per unit, increased to 4 lira 70 kurus. The price of an old hen egg, previously 4 lira 55 kurus, rose to 4 lira 65 kurus, while a new hen egg went up from 4 lira 40 kurus to 4 lira 50 kurus. In Kayseri, the price of a double egg, previously 4 lira 50 kurus, increased to 4 lira 58 kurus, and the old hen egg, previously 4 lira 43, is now priced at 4 lira 51 kurus.
