In February, the highest price increase was experienced in ice cream, with a rise of 17.28%. The product that decreased the most in price was outpatient medical services, with a decrease of 23.29%. According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), following the price increase in ice cream, pre-school and primary education saw a rise of 16.79%, followed by secondary education with 15.76%. Other products that experienced the highest price increases in February include butter at 13.72%, railway and urban passenger transportation at 11.44%, and electricity at 10.7%. On the other hand, the product with the highest price decrease last month was outpatient medical services, with a decrease of 23.29%, followed by products related to pets at 18.35%, air passenger transportation at 9.49%, children’s clothing at 8.82%, women’s clothing at 7.84%, and fresh vegetables at 7.69%.
