Details of the 5,000 TL child support were announced recently. In order to increase the declining young population rate in Turkey, birth support will be provided for children born on or after January 1, 2025. So, how can one apply for child support? What are the conditions for applying for the 5,000 TL child support? Within the scope of the 2025 Year of the Family, the birth support program has been officially launched to support families. With the new regulations, special incentives and financial support will be provided for children born in 2025.Firstborn children will receive a one-time payment of 5,000 TL, second-born children will receive monthly payments of 1,500 TL until they reach the age of 5 (including the sixtieth month) from the month the application is made, and third and subsequent children will receive monthly payments of 5,000 TL until they reach the age of 5 (including the sixtieth month) from the month the application is made. Applications are to be made at the Provincial Directorates of Family and Social Services or Social Service Centers. The Birth Support application is to be made personally, through registered mail or cargo, after the child is registered in the Identity Sharing System (KPS) at the relevant population registry office following the live birth, and after filling out and signing the “Birth Support Application Petition” completely.
