Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that the Home Care Assistance has been increased to 10,125 Turkish Liras per month as part of the Family Year. Göktaş shared the news on her social media account with a note saying “Family is our strongest bond, our safest harbor.” Emphasizing that they consider the ‘Home Care Assistance’ provided for disabled citizens to be one of the most important services, Göktaş mentioned that she visited the Yalçınkaya family benefiting from this support today. Göktaş stated that within the scope of the Family Year, they have strengthened family-focused care service models by increasing the Monthly Home Care Assistance payment to 10,125 Turkish Liras. She expressed, “We made a total payment of 5.4 billion liras to 541 thousand citizens this month. We provided support of 54.7 billion liras just in the year 2024.” Minister Göktaş also included photos from her visit to the Yalçınkaya family in her post.
