Honda has announced that it will move some production operations from Mexico and Canada to the USA.

Japanese automaker Honda Motor aims to have 90% of vehicles sold in the USA produced locally, planning to shift some automobile manufacturing activities from Mexico and Canada to the USA.

According to a report in the Nikkei newspaper, in an effort to combat the customs duties imposed by the Trump administration on car imports, the Japanese company is reportedly planning to increase its vehicle production in the USA by up to 30% within the next two to three years. As of now, Honda spokesperson could not be reached for comments on the matter.
