Growing Protests Against Tesla in the USA

Demonstrations continue in front of Tesla dealerships across the USA to protest against Musk. In the USA, hundreds of people continue to gather in front of Tesla dealerships to protest the federal budget cuts by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) where Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, is being targeted. According to news reports in the US, demonstrators in Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and the capital Washington DC have gathered in front of Tesla dealerships. Hundreds of protesters called for not buying vehicles from Tesla, which Musk leads, in protest against DOGE’s federal cuts. Protesters chanted slogans like “Sell your Teslas, sell your shares, join the strike. Hurting Tesla is stopping Musk.” Demonstrations have been organized in different parts of the country in front of Tesla car dealerships since the beginning of the month, with some arrests during the protests. US President Donald Trump had purchased a Tesla vehicle to show his support for Musk, whom he appointed as a senior advisor. Trump had emphasized that violence against Tesla dealerships would be considered “domestic terrorism” and would have serious consequences for the perpetrators.
