Grant Support of 50% for Women in Forest Villages

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Yumaklı, announced that women who get married or have children in forest villages this year will be provided with a 50% grant support. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumaklı, revealed that various supports will be provided to families in forest villages within the scope of the 2025 Family Year. Accordingly, women residing in forest villages who got married or had children this year will receive a 50% grant in the microcredit program. Half of the credits, up to 70 thousand lira, that they will use will be granted as a grant, and the remaining half will be applied interest-free and repaid over 4 years. Additionally, farmers fighting against the sunn pest and wanting to establish a windbreak curtain on the edge of their field will be provided with free seedlings. Income-generating and medicinal aromatic species of seedlings will be provided to farmers living in forest villages at an 80% discount. Farmer cooperatives will be supported in establishing facilities for the packaging, marketing, and storage needs of the products they produce.
