HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED? In Turkey, gasoline and diesel prices are calculated by adding the Excise Tax (ÖTV) and EPDK share to the duty-free refinery price to find the Refinery Sales Price excluding VAT. When calculating the Duty-Free Refinery Price, daily CIF Mediterranean product prices and daily Dollar exchange rates in the Mediterranean-Italian market are monitored to obtain a duty-free refinery maximum sales price with a certain price change difference.
