Foxconn announces debut of first major artificial intelligence language model

One of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers, Foxconn, has introduced its first major artificial intelligence language model. This significant move in artificial intelligence comes from Apple’s supplier Foxconn. The company has announced the release of its initial major language model, which it plans to use to enhance technology in production and supply chain management. Revealed to be using 120 Nvidia H100 graphics processing units in a model named FoxBrain, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer completed the process in around four weeks. It’s noted that this is the first major language model optimized for traditional Chinese and Taiwanese language styles. Despite a slight performance difference compared to China’s DeepSeek model, Foxconn stated that the overall performance is very close to global standards. Initially designed for internal applications, FoxBrain covers data analysis, decision support, document collaboration, mathematics, reasoning, problem-solving, and code generation. Foxconn also mentioned receiving support from the Taipei-1 supercomputer. Taipei-1, Taiwan’s largest supercomputer, operated by Nvidia in the southern city of Kaohsiung, provided additional assistance for this project.
